# Auctions

The total supply of Volt tokens will be fully distributed over the first ten days. After that, the deflationary mechanism will take effect. However, the auctions will continue indefinitely, thanks to a unique innovation called '[The Treasure Volt](https://docs.volt.win/phase-1-volt/the-treasure-volt).'

### Daily Auction Details

* Auctions are 24-hours each
* During first 10 days there is 100,000,000 Volt tokens up for auction daily
* After the 10th day the daily auctions consist of 20% of all the Volt tokens in “[the Volt](https://docs.volt.win/phase-1-volt/the-volt)” each day.

### Daily Auction Claiming

All Volt tokens from the daily auctions are distributed simultaneously at the start of each new day.

This ensures a clear price comparison (and potential arbitrage opportunities) between the tokens received from the auction and the liquidity pool price.

### Daily Auction Game Theory

* The entire token supply is released through the first 10 days.
* This allows Volt Token to immediately enter a deflationary phase after 10 days.
